Valentina Triet transforms runway footage from the 1980s to today into pixelated color grids that abstract the fashion show into light, movement, and sound. By removing visual clarity, she shifts the focus from the model and garments to the soundtrack as the true driver of desire and atmosphere. Her work highlights haute couture as a space where avant-garde impulses collide with consumerism. Through this alienation, she exposes how taste, value, and spectacle are constructed and marketed. The resulting installation is trance-like and disorienting, foregrounding raw sensory elements over commercial glamour.
